Editors’ Notes
Spring 2007
We are pleased to inform you
that the Journal of Globalization for the Common Good
(www.commongoodjournal.com)
has already established its niche and is gaining credibility
and strength throughout the world. The positive and
supportive comments that we have been receiving are most
encouraging and indeed humbling.
For this special issue, we
personally invited a number of prominent authors, scholars,
and civil society leaders to write on their areas of
expertise relating to Globalization for the Common Good. The
colleagues whose papers appear in this issue responded to
our invitation by writing papers that are testimonials to
our highly complex and diverse global environment. Our hope
is that these articles will ultimately result in increased
dialogue, cooperation, and collaboration across the globe.
We are grateful to the

publishes works that focus on a wide range of global issues,
such as poverty, human rights, global justice, propaganda,
global media, global economy, global conflicts, inter-faith
dialogue, ethics, cultural and spiritual values,
international cooperation, non-violent conflict resolution
and peace building, intercultural communication, alternative
socio-economic models, young people and globalization,
women's rights, human rights, war and peace, environmental
issues, global rules and regulations, regional disputes and
cooperation, alternative media, and other timely
subjects involving globalization.
We would like to emphasize that
views expressed in this journal are not necessarily endorsed
by our sponsoring web host, Purdue University Calumet,
members of the Advisory Committee, or the Journal editors.
