Editors’ Notes for Spring 2009

Dear Colleagues:

A very warm welcome to the Spring 2009 issue of the Journal of Globalization for the Common Good which mainly includes a selection work presented at our 7th Annual International Conference, Trinity College, University of Melbourne, as well as other papers.

At our conference in Melbourne we were truly privileged to have speakers of the highest calibre, sharing their views with us all. As you may know, given the large number of papers, we decided that we should publish a selection of them at this issue and others in a book, to be published at a later date. We will keep you informed.  It goes without saying that we had a most successful, rewarding and fruitful conference at the Trinity College, Melbourne. We are most grateful for all the hospitality, friendship and support given to us.

We are now looking forward with great excitement to our 8th Annual International Conference at Loyola University of Chicago (May 31- June 4, 2009): http://www.gcgchicago2009.info/

In conclusion, we would like to emphasize that the views expressed in this journal are not necessarily endorsed by our sponsoring web host, Purdue University Calumet, members of the Advisory Committee, or the Journal editors.

Yahya Kamalipour and Kamran Mofid
