Religious Freedom

Some governments allow freedom of religion, while other do not. There are also consequences for the people who break these rules. In some countries, the governments support one religion over another. The following sources will help to explain why this is a global issue, and how different nations around the world are dealing with it.

International Coalition for Religious Freedom. This site offers a comprehensive analysis of religious freedom in a nation by nation approach. It also contains articles and newsletters on the subject.

Center for Religious Freedom. An excellent source that combines religious freedom into the governmental and political structure of many nations. It contains numerous articles and reports on religious freedom from around the world.

United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. This site contains many government documents on nations around the world, and their dealing with the issue of religious freedom in their nations. The site also contains past reports on the issue.

International Religious Freedom. A branch of the U.S. government that is committed to helping spread religious freedom to developing nations. This site also has archives of past reports dealing with the issue.
