Applications for the 2004 Summer Institute are now available.  Follow the directions below to download a copy of all necessary forms.

Application Requirements:

Download and complete the Application Form and Administrator Recommendation Form.

2.  Administrator Recommendation Form  (DOWNLOAD), filled out and signed by your department chair, principal, or superintendent 

3.  Three examples of good writing from your students and a brief explanation of what you think is good in each.

4.  An essay describing a teaching strategy that you have used to help your students write or to help them employ writing effectively in some other learning task.  In describing this strategy, you will want to indicate how it represents your best teaching style as well as your convictions about how learning happens.  You will also want to include in your description an analysis of the kinds of responses you have observed among your students when you employed this teaching technique.

5.  Any articles or examples of writing (no more than two) that have been published.  OPTIONAL
