How to use the interactive city directories: There are a
total of seven directories on this page, they are organized
either
alphabetically or street by street. They list all of the residents who were
living in the subdivision in 1929, who they were married to, if they owned or
rented, how many children they had and what they did for a living. The
Woodmar Restricted, as well as the Greater Woodmar directories have present day
pictures of most of the houses. Just click the hyperlinked address
to see the picture. All pictures were taken by Jim Weir in January or
February of 2001.
